Andrew Knox, a junior at Apex High School, fired a round of 70 to capture
Low Medalist honors at the 3rd Annual NC High School Invitational hosted by
McConnell Golf at Treyburn Country Club. Bo Andrews, a Senior at Ravenscroft
posted a 71 to finish 2nd. McConnell Golf scholarship recipient and Kightdale Senior
Brian Denton finished in a tie for 3rd with Northern Durham Senior Stratten Waldt, both
finishing with a 1 over par 73.

Ravenscroft School finally captured their 1st Team Championship at the 3rd Annual NC High
School Invitational held at Treyburn Country Club. After coming up short to Green Hope the
first 2 years, they were able to post a 297 to win by 15 shots over 2nd place Green Hope High

The Golf Course
Tom Fazio, who was recently recognized as the Best Golf Course Designer by Golf Digest Magazine, has designed a championship golf course which is the centerpiece of one of the best-kept secrets in the Southeast. Sculpted into the rolling hills of northern Durham, the course's unique design and blend of community life has been rewarded with the recognition as one of the top 100 golf/residential communities in America.
The par 72 stretches out to just over 7,000 yards from the Championship tees. The course has five different sets of tees to accommodate players of all abilities. Our signature hole is #18, which plays a demanding 450 yards over a winding creek to one of the most challenging greens on the course. To make a par 4 on this hole will certainly make the golfer's round a lasting memory.
The Professional Shop at Treyburn is stocked with a full range of golf equipment and apparel. Our Professional Staff is always available to assist with selections and assist with special orders. Our PGA Professionals are available at any time to administer private lessons or clinics. The practice facility features hitting areas at both ends of the range, a chipping/pitching green, and a putting green. If you are looking for some on-course competition, our schedule offers many different weekly games and club tournaments. If casual golf is your choice, allow the Professional Staff to assist in setting up your next round. Tee times are always available and there are no restrictions on Ladies play, junior play or walking.
